Bacon Wrapped Smoked Prawns
These are perfect as a snack, entree or canapé. Bacon wrapped prawns wrapped in bacon and dusted with our wonderful pork rub.
Ingredients
10 tiger prawns
10 rashers of bacon
Wilson Barbecue pork rub
Sriracha mayo to serve
Method
Set up your pit. We did these in a Weber Kettle using the indirect method at 350f.
While the smoker is coming up to temp wrap each prawn in a rasher of bacon. Cut off any excess bacon once the prawn is fully wrapped.
When all prawns are wrapped sprinkle with Wilson Barbecue pork rub
Place in the smoker, away from the coals and cook for 20 minutes, or until cooked. You want them to have a nice colour to them.
Serve with sriracha mayo.
